Scoutable United FC
shouldn’t have to exist.
We tell ourselves that football is a meritocracy.
That ability will always win out, in the end.
But in Scotland, not every player gets the platform their talent deserves.
Scouting bias - often unconscious - means many gifted footballers from diverse backgrounds go overlooked.
Some fall out of the professional system at a young age and never get their foot back in the door.
Many more find it locked to begin with.
Scoutable United was founded in 2019 to showcase the best unsigned talent in Glasgow.

The Scoutable Story
After first kicking a ball in 2019, we quickly established a reputation within Glasgow’s grassroots scene, holding our own against local amateur sides.
Soon, we began hosting scouts and managers from local clubs at games. At the same time, sponsors realised the value in the project.
The word was out: Scoutables could play.

A Results Game
In our first year alone, we placed 7 young pros at Scottish clubs. Since then, our roster of exciting young talent has only continued to grow.
We now work with aspiring coaches too, helping them get their badges and experience under their belt.
Always the aim is the same: place talent within the footballing pyramid.
This year promises to be our best yet.

The Ultimate Feeder Club
Founded by players for players, Scoutable United is committed, connected and creative.
We collaborate with the best black-owned businesses in Scotland to produce exclusive merch. It’s about sharing successes, building profiles together.
Ultimately, we want to be a catalyst for change, on and off the pitch.

Are You Scoutable?
Be under no illusions: our standards are high.
We are open to all, but talent is what counts.
The media might reduce black players to their physical attributes alone, but we do not.
We look for intelligent, technically-gifted players and always aim to play the game the right way.
